My dad once told me “All universities are always under construction”, and I think that’s true both literally and metaphorically.

The past few weeks have been a surprisingly positive, and I’ve been working hard to try and build something new. Really I’m building a new version of myself and my career I think… but it’s been refreshing to feel (for the first time in probably +5 years) that there might be hope, that what I’m doing to build my career and my practice as a scientist might bear fruit. It’s early days, and hard to describe, but it feels like something new has begun
